" Home Away From Home "

We invite you to share our comfortable home, while you explore the unspoilt beauty of the 'Catlins'
with it's beaches, waterfalls and wildlife, as well as nature walks.

	Our home is on the outskirts of Owaka Township, in the heart of the 'Catlins'. We have a 25 acre farmlet on which we run 150 sheep plus one very friendly sheepdog. In our large garden we grow 130 roses, many rhododendrons and daffodils.

	The lounge - living room has a wonderful view of the countryside, where in summer you can walk outside and enjoy relaxing in our swing chair. In winter it is kept cosy and warm by a log burner.
	We have two bedrooms plus a very comfortable sleepout and can accomodate six people. Bedrooms feature one queen and two twin beds with shared guest bathroom. Extras include electric blankets, clock radios, bath robes and hairdryer.

 

Breakfast is included and an evening meal is available on request at an additional cost.
A complimentary supper with home baking is also available if you wish.

Our menu features local beef and lamb, followed by homemade desserts.
NZ wine is served with meals.

Children are welcome and Disability Facilities are available.

Hosts: John and Thelma John has lived in the district all his life and both share a great deal of knowledge about the area. John is a Life Member of 'Lions International', while Thelma is involved in the 'Country Womens Institute'. We both enjoy meeting and talking with people and look forward to greeting you when you come to stay with us. We are sure you will enjoy our " Genuine Kiwi Hospitality".
